Amaka Okoye is currently a Senior Associate in Clifford Okoye & Co. and consults for Blackburn Legal Company Secretarial department. Amaka co-ordinates various general and board meetings of companies, and advises on board committee meetings. Her primary task is to ensure that the client’s business objectives are timeline met. She provides legal opinions, advisory and executive summaries on ascertaining potential risks associated with various transactions and businesses in Nigeria.

Amaka is also involved in restructuring companies, reorganization, compliance and regulatory advice, and procuring compliance with all statutory regulations affecting their operations.

Prior to consulting for Blackburn Legal, Amaka was employed as a Solicitor Trainee in Kayode Sofola & Associates and IOL Associates. She is a graduate of the faculty of law, University of Lagos, where she obtained her LL.B and LL.M. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
